Think of it as the only way to say goodbye to unwanted hair forever. We use a tiny, super-fine probe to send a quick "zap" of energy straight to the root of the hair. This stops the hair from ever growing back. Unlike laser which, just reduces hair, this actually gets rid of it permanently.

Most clients describe a brief warm or pinching sensation. Comfort varies by area, hair thickness, and sensitivity (hormonal timing can matter too). I adjust my technique to keep you comfortable, and you can pause anytime. Ibuprofen beforehand and numbing cream can help with discomfort.

Hair is kind of sneaky, it grows in "waves." Some hairs are growing while others are "sleeping" under your skin. We can only zap the ones that are currently growing. To make sure we catch every single hair root, we have to treat them a few times over 2-3 years. But once the hair is gone, it wont come back, ever!

Yes. This is one of its biggest advantages, since laser often can't treat these hair colors.

Let hair grow to about 1/8 inch, a few days' growth, so I can treat it. Avoid tweezing, waxing, or threading between visits. Come with clean skin and avoid sunburn or tanning on the area beforehand.

Avoid touching the area, picking, heavy makeup, sun exposure, saunas, hot showers, and hard workouts for 24 to 48 hours. Apply aloe and use sunscreen once healed.

Consultations are free, however, the 48hr cancellation policy applies (see above). If you cancel or no show the card on file will incur a fee of $25.

Yes. Electrolysis is the only method the FDA recognizes as permanent hair removal. When a follicle is fully treated, it can no longer grow hair. Because hair grows in cycles, multiple sessions are needed to catch every follicle at the right stage.

Laser targets pigment in the hair, so it generally works best on dark hair and lighter skin, and it's classified as permanent hair reduction. Electrolysis treats the follicle itself, so it works on all hair colors and skin tones and is recognized as permanent.

Yes. Electrolysis does not depend on pigment contrast, so it's an option for all skin tones.

It varies widely by area, hair density, hormones, and treatment history. At your consultation I'll give you a realistic estimate and adjust as we see results.

Smaller areas like the upper lip take less time than larger ones. 15 minutes is the minimum, and the longest can be 4 hours.

Yes, in the sense that it can permanently remove existing hair. Hormonal conditions may cause new follicles to become active over time, so some clients return for occasional maintenance. I'm happy to talk through what's realistic for you. Link to Hormonal Hair page.

Redness, slight swelling, or small bumps are common and usually fade within an hour to 24 hours. Contact me if you have anything that worries you.
